Discover Buenos Aires: City Tour & Tango Night
Start your luxury Argentine adventure with a day of exploration in Buenos Aires. This morning, your guide will take you on a city tour through the heart of the capital. Visit the iconic Plaza de Mayo and the presidential palace, then wander through the charming streets of San Telmo, the city’s oldest neighborhood. As the city buzzes to life, you’ll head to La Boca, where colorful streets come alive with the rhythm of tango.
After a relaxing break at your hotel, get ready for an unforgettable evening. You’ll be treated to an exceptional tango show, a captivating mix of dance and music performed by talented local artists in an elegant venue. Around midnight, we’ll escort you back to your hotel, where you can reflect on the vibrant energy of Buenos Aires.
Journey to Ushuaia: The End of the World
Begin your day with a flight to Ushuaia, a charming city known as “the end of the world.” Despite its small size, Ushuaia is full of character and best explored on foot. The Yamana people, its original inhabitants, named it “Ushuaia,” meaning “protected bay.”
Incorporated into Argentina in 1884, Ushuaia became a penal colony, helping to establish a permanent Argentine presence in the region. Once you arrive, enjoy an afternoon of leisure, wandering through the town. Dive into the area’s rich history with a visit to the Prisoners’ Museum or the Fueguian History Gallery. If you’re a food lover, don’t miss out on the fresh seafood—Ushuaia’s restaurants are a true treat for the senses.
Adventure at the End of the World
Today, we’ll head out on an exciting day trip to Tierra del Fuego National Park, located just 12 kilometers from Ushuaia, nestled along the shores of the renowned Beagle Channel. As we journey to this historic land, you’ll hear about Charles Darwin’s famous expedition. Upon reaching Ensenada Bay, we’ll pause to take in the stunning views of the channel before setting off on a coastal hike.
After a delightful homemade picnic, the adventure continues. Grab your oar and enjoy a canoe ride along the Lapataia River (available for children over five years old). After an action-packed day, you’ll be ready to unwind, so make sure to get a restful night’s sleep.
Sailing the Beagle Channel
In 1833, Charles Darwin ventured through the Beagle Channel, discovering the breathtaking lands of Patagonia. Now it’s your chance to experience the same awe. Embark on a sail through the calm, azure waters that have witnessed centuries of exploration—first by the Onas, followed by renowned scientists and adventurers.
With Argentina on your left and Chile to your right, you’ll cruise along this natural border until reaching the iconic lighthouse at the edge of the world, a long-time sentinel of the bay. On your return journey, stop at Bridges Island for a peaceful walk along a scenic wildlife trail. This is the perfect moment to learn about the history of the Yaman people and view the region’s largest shell deposits.
Arrival in El Calafate
Start your day with a short flight to El Calafate, where more thrilling adventures await. This captivating town, surrounded by mesmerizing natural landscapes, is home to iconic wonders like the Perito Moreno Glacier, with its brilliant turquoise waters.
But El Calafate offers more than just glaciers. You’ll also have the chance to explore the daily life of rural Argentine communities. Venture out to a traditional Patagonian ranch to immerse yourself in the gaucho (cowboy) culture and indulge in a delicious Asado (barbecue). These are just a few of the unforgettable experiences you’ll enjoy in this beautiful region.
A Journey to Perito Moreno Glacier
This morning, we’ll take you on an unforgettable journey to Los Glaciares National Park for an awe-inspiring six-hour exploration of the Perito Moreno Glacier. This colossal ice field stands as one of the world’s most extraordinary natural wonders, and you’ll have the chance to witness its breathtaking beauty up close.
After your visit, embark on a boat ride that will bring you near the towering 80-meter (262 feet) ice walls of the glacier. Feel the grandeur of this magnificent natural wonder as you glide through the waters for an experience you won’t soon forget.
Exploring Estancia Cristina and the Majestic Upsala Glacier
Today, prepare to uncover a hidden gem of Patagonia. Your journey will take you to the captivating Estancia Cristina, where you’ll immerse yourself in the rural traditions and ranching life that define this region of Argentina.
After a scenic boat ride across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Argentino, you’ll arrive at the estancia, nestled in the peaceful beauty of Los Glaciares National Park. Hop into a 4×4 for a thrilling ride offering breathtaking views of the Upsala Glacier. To top off your experience, enjoy a delicious, traditional Argentine steak cooked to perfection.
Journey to the Lush Beauty of Iguazú
As your Patagonian adventure wraps up, get ready for a new chapter of excitement. Trade the icy peaks for the warmth of the jungle as you fly to Puerto Iguazú. This charming town is the perfect gateway to the magnificent Iguazú Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s a breathtaking destination that’s sure to leave a lasting impression.
If you’re feeling adventurous, take a moment to visit the “Hito Tres Fronteras,” a viewpoint located just outside of town. From here, you’ll have an incredible view of where the Iguazú and Paraná rivers converge, marking the meeting point of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.
Discovering the Magic of Iguazú from the Argentine Side
After breakfast, we’ll greet you at your hotel and take you to the awe-inspiring Iguazú National Park, where you’ll experience the falls from Argentina’s perspective. Surrounded by lush subtropical rainforest, the area is alive with vibrant plant life and a diverse range of animals and birds.
With the help of your knowledgeable guide, you’ll have the chance to spot fascinating wildlife, from toucans and parrots to the playful coatis. The park features both upper and lower walkways, allowing you to get up close and personal with the stunning waterfalls. Be sure to marvel at “The Devil’s Throat,” the largest and most impressive of all the falls, leaving you with unforgettable memories.
Exploring the Brazilian Side of Iguazú Falls and Return to Buenos Aires
After a delightful breakfast, we’ll embark on a 3-4 hour journey to the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls—remember to bring your passport! While Argentina boasts the majority of the falls, Brazil offers the most breathtaking panoramic views. The Argentine side brings you close to the falls, but only from the Brazilian side can you truly appreciate the vastness of this natural wonder.
In the afternoon, we’ll escort you to the airport for a short flight back to Buenos Aires. Once there, we’ll take you to your hotel, and you’ll have the rest of the evening to enjoy the lively atmosphere of Palermo Soho, where you can savor delicious food and drinks at some of the city’s coolest spots.
