Experience the Heart of Argentina: A Day on a Traditional Ranch

Step into the heart of Argentina’s countryside and discover the rich traditions of La Pampa, a region famous not only for its love of fútbol but also for its sprawling green fields. Your adventure begins with a visit to a historic ranch, where you’ll dive into the world of gaucho culture. Explore the charming streets, local museums, and old pulperías (grocery stores) in San Antonio de Areco before heading to the peaceful El Ombú estancia.

Once at the ranch, savor a traditional asado feast, then enjoy a relaxing horseback ride through nature or explore the area by bike. A Patagonian Adventure: Discover the Heart of El Calafate

Take a short flight to El Calafate and prepare to be captivated by the natural wonders of Patagonia, with highlights like the breathtaking Perito Moreno Glacier.

Your journey begins with a visit to a traditional Patagonian ranch. Leaving El Calafate behind, we’ll drive through scenic roads framed by the snow-covered peaks of Cerro Frías. Inside Los Glaciares National Park, we’ll arrive at Nibepo Aike Ranch, the only ranch in the area that still honors the age-old practices of sheep shearing and Hereford cattle breeding.

Warm up with a hot drink and delicious snack in the rustic quincho, a classic Patagonian dining room. Stroll along the shores of Lago Argentino, watch a real gaucho (Argentine cowboy) at work in the shearing shed, and enjoy an exclusive display of traditional gaucho horsemanship. Depending on the day’s activities, you might even milk cows, herd sheep, or learn about the history of the estancia’s founders.

At the end of this unforgettable experience, return to the quincho where a succulent grilled lamb awaits, cooked over a traditional Patagonian fire pit. After a day full of adventure and rich cultural experiences, we’ll drive you back to El Calafate for a restful night.

Once you arrive at Puerto Moreno, enjoy some free time to explore the glacier’s catwalk circuit at your own pace. To cap off this remarkable day, visit the Glaciarium Museum, where you’ll dive into the history of glaciers and early explorers through interactive exhibits, including an immersive ice bar experience.

Journey to Ushuaia: The End of the World

Begin your day with a flight to Ushuaia, the captivating city known as the southernmost town in the world. This charming, walkable destination was named “Ushuaia” by the Yamana people, meaning “protected bay” in their language.

Founded in 1884, Ushuaia quickly became a penal colony to secure a permanent Argentine presence in the region. We’ll take a brief tour of this historic city, stopping at scenic viewpoints from north to south. Stroll along the picturesque waterfront promenade, pass the former government house, and visit the End of the World Museum to learn about the area’s original inhabitants. As you explore the quaint neighborhoods, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the bay and the Beagle Channel.
