Today marks the beginning of a new adventure in the southern lands. We will take you to the airport to board a flight south, where the imposing beauty of Patagonia awaits. Upon landing, you will enter the stunning Torres del Paine National Park, a place where nature dazzles with majestic mountains, glaciers, and lakes of vibrant colors.

Once settled into your exclusive accommodation, the hosts at Tierra Patagonia will warmly welcome you and guide you through the many experiences you can enjoy in this magical setting. From there, you will start an accessible hike, with mostly flat terrain and just a small steeper section. As you progress, the majestic rock formations of the Cuernos del Paine will unfold before your eyes, offering views that seem straight out of a dream.

Along the way, you will stop at the impressive “Salto Grande,” a beautiful waterfall, and continue exploring the shores of Lake Nordenskjöld. From the final viewpoint, you will be able to marvel at the stunning geology of the massif that rises over the landscape, a natural spectacle that will be etched in your memory.

The trail begins with a gradual walk to the north, with the imposing Paine Massif as the backdrop to your adventure. As you progress, the landscape will lead you to a unique archaeological site: a series of rock paintings left by the Aonikenk, an ancient community of hunter-gatherers who inhabited this land over 6,000 years ago.

In addition to its historical richness, this route is an excellent place for wildlife viewing. The options vary in difficulty levels, catering to all tastes, from the simplest to the most challenging, with durations ranging from half a day to a full day.

On your free day, you can choose another activity from the many offered at the lodge. If you’re in the mood for a unique culinary experience, we recommend asking the Explora team about the dinners at the Lodge’s Quincho. A couple of times a week, you can enjoy a delicious barbecue, with lamb, beef, and fish, along with typical regional dishes. All of this will be accompanied by Andean music and exciting performances of traditional dances and songs, provided by local artists, creating a memorable evening full of flavor and culture.

Start your last day in Atacama with a peaceful breakfast, before exploring the tranquil self-guided trails surrounding the Explora property or relaxing in the comfort of your room.
At the designated time, we will escort you to the airport for your flight back to Santiago, the vibrant capital of Chile. Make the most of your last day by strolling through its streets, immersing yourself in its rich history, and exploring the unique culture that makes Santiago such a special place.
