Humantay Lake full day is formed as a product of the snowmelt of the Nevado Humantay, which in turn is part of a chain of mountains called the Vilcabamba mountain range.

Humantay Lake full day tour in Cusco is ideal for nature lovers who don’t have many days but who will find spectacular landscapes, with exotic flora and fauna along this adventure walk through beautiful valleys and white mountains. The Humantay lagoon is considered one of the most sacred mountains and lagoons in the region.
Humantay Lake: Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Humantay Lake tour
The Tour to the Humantay Lagoon in Cusco begins when we’ll pass by your respective hotel to pick you up between 4:45 a.m. to 5:30 a.m., and then travel in our private transport to the town of Mollepata, located in the exuberant valley of the Apurímac River. After a well deserved breakfast to fill ourselves with energy we will continue our trip to Soraypampa(3900msnm). After a short rest, we’ll begin our walk to the Humantay Lagoon located at 4200mt (13779 feet), where after the ascent of 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately we’ll be able to appreciate such a wonderful place.
We’ll return to our camp to have our lunch with beautiful panoramic views of the peaks and snow-capped mountains, and later we will be transferred to our city of Cusco. We’ll drop you off in the city center (near the main Plaza de Armas) or where the agency has offered you in advance.
