In March of 2022, Inkas Blood took a step forward from being Climate Neutral Certified to achieving a Climate Positive Certification, acknowledging the work we do with Green Initiative to mitigate our carbon footprint such as our efforts to remove additional carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Inkas Blood aims to compensate for the carbon emissions accrued from our tourism services with projects aimed at ecological restoration of forests and ecosystems. Inkas Blood is a proud sponsor of the Valle Sagrado Verde Project that aims to restore, protect and conserve the natural habitat of hundreds of endemic birds, mammals, insects and plant species; to regulate water cycles; and to mitigate climate change through the reforestation of the slopes of the Vilcanota River in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
