CUSCO QUAD BIKES, Are you looking for adventure and unique ways of exploring new places? Our half day ATV tour is perfect way to enjoy the important sights of Moray, Salineras (Salt Mines) and the Huaypo and Piuray Lakes. On this route, you will see the beauty of the Andean landscapes of Cusco region, gain an authentic experience from meeting local communities in the rural areas and also see seasonal native birds that live close to the lakes.

ITINERARY
Our Quad Bike tour to the Sacred Valley will begin with a morning pick up directly from your hotel in Cusco. From Cusco, we will drive in our private transportation to the ATV basecamp. This ride will be along the Cusco – Urubamba road and will take approximately 45 minutes. Once at the ATV basecamp, we will get a 10-15 training session to familiarize ourselves with the ATVs.
With our training, equipment and ATV all ready to go, we will head on with our motorized adventure. Our first stop will be at the majestic Huaypo Lake. Here, we will enjoy the views of the lake and surrounding plains. From Huaypo, we will continue to the archaeological site of Moray, for a view of the spectacular concentric agricultural terraces.
Continuing, we will drive in our ATVs to the salt flats of Maras. On our way, we will pass the iconic town of Maras, known for its colonial architecture. The beauty of the salt flats is in the thousands of shallow ponds carefully carved out on the mountain hillside. These ponds are fed by a nearby stream and cultivated by the locals for its salt deposits. Here, you will be able to sample and buy some of the best salt and its byproducts of the region.
After our visit to the Maras Salt Flats, we will make our way back to Cusco (on our private transportation).
